Please answer the following questions to the best of your ability and be as detailed as possible. All raider applications will be posted to our Applications forum, so please check back frequently to answer any questions our officers may have and to see the results of your application. We do accept all types of players into Draconian Redemption, so don't be afraid to apply even if you don't enjoy raiding. If you are not a raider, then only fill out the top portion of the application.

What is your character name and class?
Avilar - Warrior.

Do you prefer progression and hard mode raiding, easy raiding and farm content, or would you rather not raid at all? (This answer will not affect our decision to accept or decline your application so please answer truthfully.)
I am definitely a raiding fan, yes. I'm just not hardcore. I do enjoy working with a progression group, and definitely put forth the effort outside of the raid to learn the fights and to know the encounters.

How did you hear about Draconian Redemption and why do you wish to join us?
Through the grapevine, mostly. I ran with a few members in pugs ever since vanilla wow. Individuals never stuck, just the name of the guild! Ever since the small guild I was a part of lost it's way, I've been looking for something that's a little bit more prominent in size and raiding. Sort casual and/or semi-hardcore. I believe DR may be a good fit. Plus I hear only good things! I have also ran with Twigdancer a number of times in BC.

RAIDING:
(Please answer the following questions only if you intend to raid with us.)

Please list any past/current guild/raiding alliance affiliations:
I've had a couple on two different toons. In vanilla WoW I ran MC with Sharkor and the Order of the Ebon Muffin. It was an alliance of a few medium sized guilds. For all of BC, and some of Wrath I ran with House Stalwart and the Duranub Raiding Company. We cleared all the way through Tempest Keep before Wrath.

What is your spec, rotation, and glyph setup, and why did you choose them?
(You must choose one main spec for raiding with our group.)

I'm a prot warrior. I use a pretty standard deep wounds build. I use the glyph of blocking, thunder clap, and cleave for assisted AE tanking. My rotation is more of a priority system. I keep up Shield Slam, Revenge, Shockwave/Thunderclap on cooldown and in that order.

Please list your gear level range from lowest to highest: (ex. 219-245)
(These numbers now appear on the in-game item tooltips.)

My average gear level right now is 246. My lowest two pieces are 226, and the highest being 264. I've just started ICC 10 and have a few pieces of T10.

What raid experience do you have?
I've done most of them at least a handful of times. I am at 6/12 with ICC. I cleared MC and BWL from vanilla WoW. I've done every raid encounter in BC, with Black Temple and Hyjal only being once. I've cleared Naxxramas a number of times on 10 and 25 man. I've been to Ulduar a few times, but I was not playing WoW when it was the highest level content.

What is your role during a raid?
I am mainly OT with occasional MT duites.

Are you open to feedback/constructive criticism?
Always. How can we learn if not to be open to opinion?

How do you go about preparing for raids?
Research. Study the fights. Make sure you have all the flasks/potions/consumables you need. Be repaired an early for the raid!

After reading over our raid schedule on the main page of our website, how many raids will you be willing and able to commit to per week?
I would be able to make all of them, and could probably fill 2 per week.

Are you interested in joining the guild or would you prefer to stay in your current guild and be an allied member? (Allies and guildies are treated the same in the loot system and rostering priority, but some 10-man runs may be limited to guild members only.)
I would be interested in joining the guild. I do so much more outside of raiding, and just having a good set of people to role with would be great! :)

Have you read over our rules and DKP system and understand them fully?
Yes I have. They seem to be a bit complicated but seem fair and hold little to no room for argument.

I have CDO. It's like OCD, except that all the letters are in alphabetical order. As they should be.

I ran with him back in the BC days and have tanked with him recently. Knows his stuff and easy to get along with.
