I'd move that MP5 is considered under the Stats-based Priorites rule as a healer stat much as Hit is for dps classes. |

Depends on the heal style, but it is going away in Cata. Problem is it's a very clunky regen stat compared to Spirit-based talents Don't fight darkness - bring the Light, and darkness will disappear. |

The other issue is that almost all the SP mail in the game has Mp5 on it. Even if you're elemental. Real Paladins have the [Charger] Feat of Strength Fact: No plate kilt will ever look as good as T2. |

Personally, I find MP5 to be a useless stat for all classes and specs. Every 100 casting MP5 is, what, an extra heal or two a minute? I have CDO. It's like OCD, except that all the letters are in alphabetical order. As they should be. |

For some fights (LK, cough cough) where it's a flipping 15 minute battle, you feel the pinch without some Mp5 in there for mana regen. It's still a somewhat piss-poor stat though since yeah, in-cast regen is utter dogturds compared to even if you get a few seconds to pause and actually regen. I did notice on Rotface last night though, LOTSA damage getting tossed around to where it was denting my mana pool considerably. I'd prefer them to do the Spirit regear/transition before Cata honestly, so we could gauge it more accurately now. :( Don't fight darkness - bring the Light, and darkness will disappear. |
