Please answer the following questions to the best of your ability and be as detailed as possible. All raider applications will be posted to our Applications forum, so please check back frequently to answer any questions our officers may have and to see the results of your application. We do accept all types of players into Draconian Redemption, so don't be afraid to apply even if you don't enjoy raiding. If you are not a raider, then only fill out the top portion of the application. What is your character name and class? Do you prefer progression and hard mode raiding, easy raiding and farm content, or would you rather not raid at all? (This answer will not affect our decision to accept or decline your application so please answer truthfully.) How did you hear about Draconian Redemption and why do you wish to join us? RAIDING: Please list any past/current guild/raiding alliance affiliations: What is your spec, rotation, and glyph setup, and why did you choose them? Please list your gear level range from lowest to highest: (ex. 219-245) What raid experience do you have? What is your role during a raid? Are you open to feedback/constructive criticism? How do you go about preparing for raids? After reading over our raid schedule on the main page of our website, how many raids will you be willing and able to commit to per week? Are you interested in joining the guild or would you prefer to stay in your current guild and be an allied member? (Allies and guildies are treated the same in the loot system and rostering priority, but some 10-man runs may be limited to guild members only.) Have you read over our rules and DKP system and understand them fully? I have CDO. It's like OCD, except that all the letters are in alphabetical order. As they should be. |

To be honest, you're not really geared or ready for progression raiding at this point. Looking over your spec/glyphs, you're missing a Major, and have a lot of PvP talents (notably Eye for an Eye). Great for nuking someone in a BG, not so much in PvE content. Those are minor though, and can be fixed with a respec. As for your gear, you definately need a full set of Triumph badge stuff at this point, and have it gemmed/enchanted. For your weapon, H-ToC and H-PoS have some nice axes to upgrade your claymore (though, that's not a bad starter); the Mirror of Truth and the +Hit Triumph trinket would be good replacements for what you have now, and the Str & Agi Triumph rings would get you started. Get rid of that SP cloak asap, though; Cloak of Bloodied Waters is a decent blue to use for now, until you can buy a Valor or Frost cloak. For gemming, you want to toss a Nightmare Tear in that helm for your meta, and basically gem straight Strength for now. Get rid of the Stamina gems, don't ever use those for Ret. That is all stuff that you can work on with just farming Heroics, and will get you closer to being ready for any serious raids. Otherwise, I don't mind if you want to come hang out as a casual member in our guild, and maybe get carried into some of the weekly badge runs, but not as a "hard core" raider at the moment. For your armor, I'd work on your Tier 9 4 piece first, they're solid pieces and will help you get to Hit cap quickly. It's 8% normally for melee (7 as a Draenai), so work on that first. Then look for pieces with Expertise to reach the 26 soft cap. Otherwise, there are some good upgrades out of the new 5 man dungeons, as well as some other badge pieces you can pick up Don't fight darkness - bring the Light, and darkness will disappear. |

Wow. I just saw this bloke in the Guild Recruitment channel. Making a Guild for Humans, and "dwarves are treated equally, but none of those Gnome scum". He was calling the guild something like "Wehrmacht und Sturmwinde". I've heard some pretty racist/fascist things in my days playing wow. This was over the top. He was spouting shit about races staying in there own cities to defend against the horde. It's certainly not how I would expect somebody that wants to be even associated with this group to act. |

thats weird, when i searched wehrmacht, they said german army, the german army Still uses that embelm of the wehrmacht, and im pretty sure its still called that, anyhow remember the wehrmacht had not commited any war crimes, it was simply the name of the german army. in wikipeia's case, there are alot of people who served for the wehrmacht, and not for the SS, those two were totaly differnet things. BTW the SS was more like comandos...but in a larger force. |

After reviewing, I'm going have to say you'd probably be best served looking elsewhere for your raiding/PvP needs. Good luck to you in your future endeavors. Don't fight darkness - bring the Light, and darkness will disappear. |

I'm really sorry, but I have to be honest. I know the decision has already been made, but I would like to contribute my two cents. I was in a ToC with Max on my mage yesterday. Not only was he in there with 4 or 5 pieces of PVP gear, NOTHING he had was gemmed or enchanted. He had the tank ring from H ToC. He had a PVP Spellpower belt. He had no idea why I was mortified to see 71 points in his Prot offspec tree (0/5 in Deflection? Really?). He wasn't attacking the proper target most of the time (not that his 1700 dps would have made that much of a difference). Died to 'stand in it' stuff. Repeatedly (in a raid he had already cleared). But above all else, it was the way he carried himself that bothered me the most. He was repeatedly offering unrequested (bad) advice, offering to recruit by stepping outside and sending tells to everyone available in /who and bragging about how many people had placed him on ignore. RL and I were talking in whispers, and he thought Max was 10. When he said he was 15, all excuses were out the door. And as Gryfter mentioned, add his racial-undertone laden guild recriutment spam, and I would have SERIOUS issues having <Draconian Redemption> under both of our names. Now or in the future.
